When you visit the Online Weaving School, you will notice that both memberships and single class are available for purchase.
To help you decide which is the right option for you, I’m going to take you through the differences, and what you actually get when you buy a membership.
*Please note that ALL classes are streaming only. This is my policy due to the high risk of online course theft. I recommend viewing with a high speed internet connection.
Single Class Purchase
This is a great option if you want to try out the classes before committing to a membership. It’s also perfect for if you are just interested in certain topics and wish to purchase one class at a time.
Pros
- Once you purchase a single class, you have permanent access. You can watch any time, as many times as you like, for years to come.
- You can purchase the class/es that you’re really interested in.
- You can leave feedback and ask questions under any class video. Kelly will always do her best to respond in a timely manner.
Cons
- It can become expensive purchasing a single class if you find yourself adding to your purchase list.
- You will not gain access to the private member’s group
- There are some classes that are “member’s only”. These are not available for single purchase.
Memberships
A membership is a great option if you see yourself doing a lot of weaving.
Pros
- It’s cost efficient. You gain access to a lot of classes at a lower price than if you purchase them singly.
- There is a huge array of choices, regardless of weaving level.
- You gain entry to the member’s group (not on Facebook) – a terrific community of supportive and enthusiastic weavers. It’s also an awesome place to share your work with others and get feedback. Kelly is also active in this group.
- You can cancel at anytime. Please note that the money back guarantee only applies to the first 30 days and I am unable to refund after the expiry of this time period. If or when you cancel, you are still enrolled until your membership officially expires.
- You can leave feedback and ask questions under any class video. Kelly will always do her best to respond in a timely manner.
- Memberships are always open for purchase
- You gain access to some classes that are “member’s only” and not available to non members
- You have a choice of membership options to suit your situation
Cons
- Just like a gym membership, it’s not going to save you money unless you use it!
- At this time, the demand for rigid heddle classes is huge. Although there are floor loom and table loom classes as well, these are limited currently.
- Unlike a single class purchase, you only have access to the class library while your membership is active. If you cancel, you will lose access to all your membership classes.
Types of Membership
Currently, there are 3 types of membership available:
The Premium Membership is the top level choice. You gain access to the full class library, you gain early access to new classes as they are being made and uploaded and feature you are invited to the private member’s group.
The remaining 3 memberships are all the same except in price. You gain access to the full class library and are invited to the private member’s group.
