I’m writing this in support of Tracy. Tracy has a wonderfully large family and is a talented sewer, quilter, knitter and spinner to name a few things. She spends a lot of time sharing her own patterns and tutorials and if you visit her blog you can see what I mean, she is very generous.
Lately some bloggers have left unkind and negative comments on Tracy’s blog, specifically about her patterns and fabric choices. Now, one of the great wonders of God is that He created us all different with individual tastes. He didn’t give us these differences in order to judge one another but in order to appreciate one another!
What I’m asking today is that we all be a little kinder. We don’t have to be fake or over the top, just kind.
Happiness can be spread so easily, but so can hate.
Blessings and happy faces to you all!

really?!! how could Tracy's blog even generate negativity.
i think some people have no manners & way too much time if they spend it spreading negativity!
well said Kel.

I agree, why spend your energy on negative comments? I am up for being more kind x

Some people are just weirdly wired. Their problems will have nothing to do with Tracy. I hope she just deletes the comments without giving them a second thought.

I totally agree – my Mum had the same advice and I'm trying really hard to pass that onto my children. Especially as the 'anonymity' of the internet is a big part of their lives now. Respect for other people must given – no exceptions, no matter the "medium".
Another of my Mum's bits of advice was that the people who run you down the most are those who are most jealous of what you have achieved – they can't do what you can and spitefulness and bullying is what they become good at.
I hope Tracy knows her supporters far outweigh the nasty ones.

I have followed Tracy's blog for some time now and I find it hard to understand why anyone would leave a negative comment?
Thanks to Tracy I have been inspired to do many things, I have made her darling apron for my daughter and her friends, I have tried my hand at crochet and knitting, I have a new appreciation for Enid and vintage childrens clothing. She has made me think about many important things that often I am just too busy and "stop" and think. I have admired her courage, her persistence, her patience and her love for her darling children. I have never heard bag someone or be judgmental on her blog.
I guess what I am trying to say is that Tracy has nothing but a positive influence and I am very sad to hear that others would be negative and I hope that Tracy knows those people are the minority.
Do unto others is a motto I live by. Phooey to the thoughtless people.

I really don't understand why people feel the need to leave negative comments. If you don't like something, then why even bother leaving a comment. Everyone has different tastes and different opinions. None of us are right or wrong, we're just different, and that's what makes the world a wonderful place!
PS – My mum taught me the same lesson!

Thank you for the heads up! I took a peek at Tracy's blogs and I'm following her now. ; ) I think we need to support each other, especially when hurtful things are thrown at us for no reason.
I love discovering new blogs too!
Thankyou!
