Another knit finished and no inclination to slow down š This beautiful little cardi is Little Butterflies from Tikki (couldn’t you have guessed, I’m a little obsessed with this lady’s patterns!)
This photo has the best colour representation. The yarn is Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 8 ply in the colour Aquarium.
She chose rainbow striped buttons and I made her a little brooch to go with it.
It would be amiss of me to not thank my girl for modelling on a day where she has a horrible cold and is feeling rotten, good on you Gem!
And just in case you’re wondering, I do have another cardi cast on already with some yarn I hand dyed (I’ll show you that another day). And yes. It’s another Tikki pattern š

Vicky, I am possibly one of the world's slowest knitter, but I'm happy to say that I am improving with experience š
I haven't ventured into continental – I don't like the idea of holding the yarn with my weaker hand, but then again, I can't judge it until I try it!

Hi Sue!
I love Tikki patterns because they are knit or circular needles, which are my needles of preferences and most of the patterns are seamless which just makes the whole process a bit easier.
Good luck with the rest of your cardigan š
Vicky
This is beautiful, Kelly. I love the colour.
I'm knitting a jumper with a boat on for my youngest son, at the moment. It's almost an exact copy of one I made, last year, which he loves but is growing out of. I must admit it's one of my projects which is going a bit slowly but, now, I feel inspired to get it out, again!
Are you a fast knitter? Do you use continental knitting? My knitting has speeded up a lot since I learnt how to do it this way but I still need more practice.
God bless, Kelly:-)

Kelly,
The cardigan is gorgeous. So is your daughter! I have bookmarked both of the links, the one for the patterns and the yarn one. I am feeling inspired. I am currently working on a winter cardigan for Gemma-Rose. It has just enough pattern to keep me interested without slowing me down. Now I am looking ahead. I shall look at the Tikki patterns again once I have finished this project.
Thanks for sharing.
God bless!
