I never used google reader but thought I'd give bloglovin a try and I love it my blogs are all in one place and I can see who has posted and I can mark when I have read the posts.
I like it much more than google reader. I get email each day with the blog feed for the blogs I follow. If I fall behind in my blog reading, I can read them from the email and mark everything in bloglovin as read
