In the shop now! 15 inches tall, beautiful alpaca and merino hair. She has knitted leg warmers and a pet butterfly. She was a real joy to make.

Waldorf boy
New doll in the shop today!
I’ve used that gorgeous mohair for his curly mop and knitted him some woolies (its almost winter here after all!)
A nice surprise
So here I’ve been whinging about my lack of doll sales, now I’ve sold 2 in 2 days! So today will hopefully consist of starting some new dolls and maybe finishing my embroidery (which incidentally has somehow become a wallhanging).
A big thankyou to all my customers and others who support my crafting efforts, its so lovely to be rewarded for what you do!
Making waldorf dolls
I found this interesting post on low long it takes to make a waldorf doll and what work you put into it. It can be disappointing when people won’t buy your dolls unless they are cheap, they just don’t seem to realise the time it takes and the money you outlay to get the materials in the first place.
I’ll be back later today to draw the GIVEAWAY winner.
Boy doll.
Knitted pouch doll
Another one finished and listed in the shop.
I made one for my daughter ages ago and she still loves it, so thought I’d make one to sell. The organic merino wool is so beautiful to knit with, and being stuffed with wool she is so cuddly too.
Genevieve take two
Genevieve
I just finished her and everyone here is in bed, so I’m here to show and tell. The photo is not good (its late), the colours are so washed out. She has a babydoll top with velveteen pants. She is 11 inches tall. She will be in my Etsy shop tomorrow after a proper photo shoot.
Now I’d better get myself off to bed.
Goodnight!
Molly!
Another bear doll
She is being sent as a gift to someone who has been generous to me. I like making these – they’re really cute and feel just right to hold. My 3 year old daughter is giving much encouragement at the moment with her exclamations of “oh Mum, she’s beautiful!” and by hanging around the sewing table to watch and read to me while I work. I even have to appreciate my 19 month old daughter snatching handfuls of wool from the bag and running off with them held to her face – at least she appreciates natural materials!
