HAND DYED SALE
Shop update
I’ve been working on my Etsy shop a little and must say, I’m pretty happy with how it’s looking at the moment – it really reflects what I do and the different skills I have, plus the things I love.
I wanted to get a full screen shot but as I’m possibly one of the least tech savvy of people, I could only get half!
Why not pop over and have a look for yourself (then you’ll get to see the whole thing!)
Hand printed buttons
While I’m here I’d like to welcome all who are new to my blog and thank you so very much for stopping by. If you stop by regularly but have never said hi, please do, I love to know who I’m talking to and it means I can visit you too š
New embroidery pattern
It’s with great excitement that I announce my second embroidery pattern is now available in my Etsy shop. Why the excitement? Well, it’s a lot of work to create a pattern, beginning with the first sketch, then the embroidery itself and finally the writing of instructions and having the file ready to send. So for me, it’s an achievement to start and finish a project like this. But I do so love it š
Hope you love it too. Happy Stitching!
Miniatures!
A lovely memory from my childhood is my Dad finding an old dollhouse that had belonged to one of his sisters in an old unused shed on the farm. He cleaned and painted it for me and I thought it was the most wonderful thing on earth – 2 storey and the front of the house opened and closed with a little latch. When we left the farm almost everything got sold and I think my dollhouse was among the things that went.
A little search on Etsy lead me to these wonderful discoveries:
Mixed Berry Pie in 1/6th scale by puttering
Alaska Red Clay Miniatures by FunkydevazVintage
Fairy Ring from WarmCountryMeadows
Springtime miniature dollhouse bedspread by Pugcentric
Yum Cha BBQ Pork Bun in Steam Basket 1/12th scale from luluminiatures
Handmade Miniature wooden chair by ShopHotHouse
Miniature Pet 1/12th scale by firbreheart
What do you think? Aren’t miniatures just awesome?!

Lil’ Mim sisters
This is the first time I’ve made a pair of dolls for sisters, I think it’s really beautiful that they’ll both have their own special doll for Christmas. These 2 are about 13 inches tall and made with the my usual favourites – cotton tricot, carded wool, mohair yarn and lovely prints for their dresses.
Last night I started work on my doll for the Melbourne Show, I’ve left it a little late, but it’s cool, she’ll get there!
