You know you’re busy when you completely miss important milestones, like I did this year!
The Online Weaving School turned 7 last week and yes, I totally forgot 🤦♀️
But it’s never too late for a celebration, right?!
One of my favourite ways to celebrate a milestone is with a giveaway, and from past experience I don’t think any of you object to the idea either.
Before I launch into the specifics, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has supported me these past 7 years. Kelly Casanova Weaving Lessons simply would not exist without you, nor would Kelly Casanova Designs. I am grateful for you!
OK, here is the deal. There will be one prize winner. The prize is:
- A one year Premium membership to the Online Weaving School worth $157USD
OR
If you already have a Premium membership, you will receive $157USD credited to your PayPal account. If you have a monthly or 6 monthly membership, you will be upgraded to a Premium membership for one year.
- 3 digital download patterns (your choice but patterns only, ebooks excluded) from my Shopify store worth $24 – $35AUD.
FOR A VALID ENTRY
- Please ensure you have registered an account with the weaving school. It is free and easy to do, and will ensure that if you win I can enrol you in your membership without any problems.
2. Tell me in the comments below what winning this prize would mean to you.
Please note that all comments need to be approved manually (thanks spammers 🙄) so please be patient as you wait for approval.
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATULATIONS TO JANET, WHO HAS BEEN NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL.
Best of luck to all of you!
Until next time…
Happy Weaving!
Mary Ann
Congratulations to you! Thank you for this generous opportunity. A year of weaving school would mean for me: MORE WEAVING!!! Yay! That means more focus, less stress, and more gifts to charitable organizations. About 50% of my weaving is donated to fundraising auctions for charitable organizations. Those items need to have a lot of eye-appeal in order to garner their worth for the charity. The weaving school would make weaving eye-catching patterns and colors so much fun – no two would need to be alike!
Pamela
Congratulations on your continued success!
It would mean so much to win this prize. I have been a follower of your content for years and so appreciate the free info and have just never had the ability to become a full fledged member 😊
I love weaving rigid heddle and on my 2 floor looms. I need to learn and attempt more since I had to give up fiber processing recently due to health issues. We had to rehome our 4sheep and 2 alpaca as well. So now I need to refocus and /or change gears.
Thank you for the opportunity to enter and for literally all I have learned over the years from your teaching.
Sue Nissen
I’ve followed you on Facebook and Instagram for several years as well as purchasing a few of your online courses, Kelly. A premium membership would be such a fun way to grow deeper in weaving skills. I have a rigid heddle loom that almost always has a warp on it as well as a four shaft floor loom that has yet to be used. Blessings on you, Kelly; you are an extremely gifted artist and teacher!
Judith Naumann
During a dark and difficult time in my life I remembered knitting and later discovered weaving, and both helped me to stabilize and ‘stay grounded’ by enjoying texture and color and beauty. After watching many of your videos on Youtube I subscribed for 6 month membership. A year of free membership would help me a lot to keep going and gain confidence and fun in learning all this new skills and techniques.
Congratulation for your seven year jubilee : ).
Kathy L.
Congratulations Kelly!! I learn so much from you and your patterns and videos give me the confidence I need to go outside my comfort zone. Winning your prize will give me the chance to be a premium member, something I have always hoped to be able to do.
Rick Martin
Your instructional videos are so easy to follow. Winning would help me learn enough to gain the confidence to actually become a weaver instead of just a tinkerer!
Becky
I started weaving in February and am now working on my third project. I love the fact that simple weaves can create beautiful patterns with impressive results (i.e. houndstooth and log cabin). I would love to win this Premium membership to the Online Weaving School to continue learning new skills and techniques.
Ulrike Seifert
Dear Kelly,
congratulations to your seventh aniversary. Your Weaving School is great. I have not so much time to weave an I’m a beginner, But your tips and teachment help me so much. Thank you for this. To upgrade my monthly membership would be wonderful.
Best regards
Ulrike
Susan Smith
Congratulations on 7 years, Kelly! How kind of you to offer the weaving community a gift.
As a recently retired teacher, I am finding so much more time to devote to weaving and looking forward to exploring weave structures and techniques. Your generous offer of a membership, would provide a great opportunity for learning while allowing a little extra to build my stash.😊
Anne Hampson
Happy Anniversary! You have taught me so much about weaving through your YouTube videos and I would love to learn more techniques. I am not well off monetarily so I get most of my yarn at charity shops and save for new heddles etc. I have time, friends, relatives and lovely countryside to inspire me but I would love instruction to help my confidence.
All the best to you and your family.
Bianca
Congrats dear Kelly! 🫶 And here‘s to the next seven(ty) years 🍾🎉
Seven years? I can‘t believe it…I guess I was one of its first members and loved learning new things.
A new membership would mean that I can return to my several looms and have a cool project learning something new on each of them.
Happy weaving and celebrating!
Bianca
Jen E
Congratulations, Kelly! Winning this giveaway would give me the confidence to consistently use my RHL and try out the couple of patterns I bought from you.
Judith L Phillips
I’ve not been able to weave much these last several months due to life stuff… As soon as I can afford it I plan to rejoin the weaving school and get back into the flow. I really appreciate how thorough your classes are and all the options you bring to the table.
Oh, and a belated happy birthday to you! I hope there was cake
Barbara Nevin
I’m a relatively new weaver. I would love to learn more techniques. Your classes are fantastic and easy to follow.
Erin McNutt
Congratulations to you!! That is an amazing accomplishment and very inspirational.
As a long time knitter and very beginning weaver, winning a years membership would be super!
Thanks for all you do!
SILVIA MIRELMAN
Hi Kelly, I live in south Patagonia , Argentina, have few oportunities to learn here, so….I read a lot your comments, hve done some classes too. I love to go on learning how to improve my weaving and your classes and comments are a wonderful source to me….. Hope to win the prize!!!!!
Mona Gleysteen
Happy Birthday to you!! Congratulations on reaching 7 years and goodness knows how many lives you have touched and enriched that time. I am one of the people who found a new “life” of weaving through your weaving school. As a retired teacher I recognize the commitment that you have taken on and the responsibility you have. Thank you so much!!
If I were to win, it would be an honor and a privilege to make some new and different gifts for my family and friends who are starting to anticipate handmade with love gifts from me and also to share the knowledge I have gained with my crafty granddaughters.
Erin Reddy Wolff
I would love to win this giveaway because making things makes me. As a survivor of severe complex PTSD, making has allowed me to dedicate just enough of the anxious energy toward my craft in order to let the rest of my brain heal/lesrn new skills for coping/create new neural pathways. Thank you. 🙂
Stephanie
I want to get more practice with my Inkle loom and that’s the first course I’d take.
Donna Carol Walton-Gibbs
Congratulations Kelly! I would enjoy a membership. Recently you spoke to a guild I belong to and I enjoyed learning more about you and I enjoyed your teaching style.
Rhoda
A year of free weaving school would be a real treat! I have several rigid heddle looms as well as a floor loom and an inkle loom. I love going to your weaving school and learning new skills, as well as refreshing my memory when needing to brush up on a project like the double-weave baby blanket. I am getting ready to start another one for a baby shower gift for our youth pastor and his wife (who just had their first baby) and I love having your weaving school resources available. So many things I have learned from you and so many more I want to try! (Krokbragd is is definitely on my bucket list!) Happy Birthday to your business and hopefully you have many more! I love following you and recommend you to all my new weaving friends. I’m getting ready to teach another friend how to weave and I have already told her about your weaving school and YT channel.
Susan
A 100 year old member of my Weaving Guild made a comment that she has never wanted to stop learning. This really inspired me to keep going in my own weaving journey. My hope is to someday become an accomplished weaver like her and your classes would definitely help me to do so.
Leonie Cochrane
Happy Birthday Kelly, I have learned so much from you and will continue too Im sure. I have watched a few other weaving teachers on you tube and I can never find the follow on video or I just don’t understand what they re saying half the time… I love how you are so organised with the way you help us with your school. I have decided to save up to purchase a circuit machine for many reasons but I do liked what you did with the sticker on the painted warp. I would love to play with that idea. So having my subscription refunded would help so much, I was also given some money from my son for Mother’s Day to kick off the savings.
Thanks again for everything.
Lots of love Leonie 💗
Autumn Maxwell
I began weaving 3years ago and love to keep upping my skill level – dreaming of the day when I can live off of fiber arts! I owe a huge thanks to you for all I’ve learned through your YouTube videos and your online weaving courses.
Jennifer Williams
Happy birthday to you! I’ve been following you for a while now and recently got my first online course from you. Winning this would be an awesome way to really kick my weaving skills up a whole lot! Although my housework might not get done if I win, because i’ll be weaving all the time. 🙂
Alison Baxter
Happy 7th Birthday
I have been teaching myself to weave since September and need to push myself to learn more than plain weave. Membership would push me into doing this.
Lisa Dolan
Congratulations!! 7 years how wonderful. I am so thankful for those 7 years that have made me a better weaver because of your inspirational videos. Your teaching style makes it so easy to follow and you explain everything. so well. I love your funny stories. I am so happy to have chosen such a great weaving school with a really great weaving teacher. Thanks for sharing your gift with us. I already feel like I have won a prize and winning this contest would just be the cherry on top.
Linda Pace
Sure enjoy weaving and sharing with you. I would like to continue this process with the premium membership.
Thank you for sharing your love.
Marcelle
Congratulations Kelly on this achievement. I would love to win this prize. I am a newbie to weaving, but in this last month since I started watching your videos, I have learnt so much already. I enjoy learning from your tips and tricks and your advice. You are a great teacher, easy to follow as you explain things so clearly and I feel I would learn so much more from a Premium Membership. Thank you for this opportunity to enter the give away.
Cathy
My Family bought me a Rigid Heddle Loom last year for my birthday. Since then I enrolled in your Premium course and found that teaches me every thing I would like to know and more as well as answering my questions. Everyone in the family has things I have woven for them and they are now requesting items that are woven.
I have some chronic illnesses which can debilitate me at times but I find that weaving can take me out of that headspace and help a lot especially when I’m down.
Thank you for the time and help you give us all
Natasha
Спасибо. Когда мне удается ткать можно просто забыть на чуть-чуть боль и свое несовершенство! “Заткать горе” справедливое выражение!. Иногда ткешь болье или меньше, но процесс завораживает и помогает мне жить! Thank you. When I manage to weave, I can just forget the pain and my imperfection for a little bit! “Shut up grief” is a fair expression!. Sometimes you weave more or less, but the process is fascinating and helps me live!.
Jan
Congratulations on 7 years and thank you so much for Everything you’ve given to the community. I’m a new weaver so have much to learn and your name always comes up as the best weaving instructor . I’m currently unable to work so weaving has been a way to keep my mind healthy and to feel creative and productive. There’s so much I have to learn and I know this is the perfect place to dive in. Thank you.
Jacki Breisacher
Congratulations on reaching this milestone! Winning the membership would be great. I’m a fairly new weaver and I know I could do much more on my rigid heddle loom (which would lessen my loom envy and desire for a floor loom 😀 ). I keep thinking I would be able to learn so much if I had a membership so perhaps this will motivate me–if I win I’ll have the membership and if I don’t it could push me to join). So either way it seems like I would get some motivation and probably greatly improve my weaving.
Catherine
Congradulations on 7 years. It’s too bad you have to deal with spammers. I would like to win, I’m retired and on a limited income now. I’m looking for a job, but hoping to work around my volunteer work at our local hospital. It’s kind of you to offer gifts for your anniversary. A couple of people will be very happy and the rest, it gives time for reflection on what we have. Thanks.
Pam Lovin
I love to create, especially with yarn. I started knitting then crocheting. Now weaving provides a new creative outlet. Winning the prize would provide more opportunities to make things to share with friends and family.
Mary Stever
I teach weaving in a small shop. It’s always great to be able to learn new things that I can share
Kelly
Entry for Sheila Adams
Jennifer Shields
Congratulations Kelly
Always so proud of your achievements and love pointing new weavers to your school .
Your a fantastic teacher . Onward and upward.
Love and Blessings
Jenny
Linda Stull-lipps
It is hard to believe it has been seven years. I remember when there were only individual classes. Unfortunately being retired the cost became too great for me. So, if I won I would be able to enjoy your classes again. Thank you for offering this opportunity. You are not only a great teacher but an inspirational person. Blessings!
Kathryn A Koch
There is so much to learn that a Premium membership would allow me to keep going.
Corey
My very first weaving course was the Weaving Boot Camp that I did on my rigid heddle loom. I recently took an Intro to Floor Looms class through a local guild, and I’m so excited to continue the learning I did in these two classes. Winning this would give me the opportunity to continue my weaving education with Kelly, whom I really enjoyed learning from in that very first boot camp. Congrats on the 7th anniversary!
Maggie Griscom
Another year. There have been so many wonderful ideas and patterns. I love all the things I have tried. Now we have completed our downsizing and we face the first grandchild going to college there will be fewer things for Nana to do and more time to weave. Congratulations on another successful and instructive year
Stephanie King
Kelly,
Congratulations on the seven year birthday!
I would like to thank you for all you do. You will never know how much you have helped me along this weaving journey that I’ve started. I had your premium membership for a year but then I couldn’t afford again when the membership money was due so I had to cancel it. I think having your membership would give me the confidence to do those harder classes that I wasn’t able to get to before. Now I watch you on YouTube and that has to be it for now. Again thanks for all you do it really does help so many of us weavers out there that don’t have any clue where to start.
Kim Chase
Thank you so much for all you do for weavers around the world. You have made such an impact. I would love to win because there are quite a few things I have not tried, let along mastered. You are a fabulous teacher and make everything doable.
Janet
Congrats on 7 years!! And thank you so much for all the wonderful lessons. I would more have attempted any of this without your tutelage.
Katrin
Congratulations for reaching this milestone. With the Premium Membership I could learn new techniques and would watch even the classes for other than rigid heddle looms, because I am courious.
Carolyn Bida
Hello Kelly and congrats on the anniversary! I have been into fiber arts for many years and took up weaving a few years ago. I haven’t been very consistent with my weaving so I struggle to remember what I’m doing every time I try. I have used your free videos before and learned much from them. I am retired and want to cement my skills so I can do more creative things. Cheers!!
Patricia Crossett
Happy Seventh Birthday, Kelly and Weaving School! So great. You are so very generous and such a fabulous teacher. I have learned a to. From your videos but need to learn so much more. Winning your giveaway would be such a boon to me or whoever is the recipient.
Many thanks for this.
Barbara LaGrone
Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all the joy you bring to my weaving! I’s so nice to be able to “visit” with you, and learn new skills…I only wish I had joined the KC train earlier!
Barbara Kenrich
Kelly
Congratulations on 7 years. I have enjoyed the weaving online school for many years but feel like I have a lot to learn. Have a rigid heddle at present but would like to move up to a table loom. I look forward to learning new techniques with you.
Thanks again for being a great teacher.
Barbara
Lee McFadden
Lucky 7! I have a busy schedule and having classes available when I am available is fantastic! I am still doing the last weave along, but hope to do more soon.
Paula Hill
Hi Kelly! Congratulations! I was enrolled and enjoying your weaving school. Life happened and I had to back out . I was hoping to continue my weaving journey, but haven’t been able to yet. I would love to win the giveaway and continue. Thank you for this generous opportunity.
Good luck to everyone.
Susan M
Thank you Kelly for your generosity! In both the giveaway and all the time you have given any of us. I already have a membership I just don’t use it quite enough but I do use it anytime I need to. You’re an excellent teacher. I love your sensibility about things and I absolutely love your home and everything about it it’s like a fairy tale to me.
Melinda Ross
I still have sooooo much to learn! I’m trying new techniques and then itching to do yet another, but with only one loom I’ve gotta wait till the current project is off the loom and finished. I subscribe to multiple weaving groups on Facebook. That really helps with ideas and encouragement. I’m so new to weaving, a passion that I’ve wanted to pursue since I was a young girl but just didn’t have the means to fulfill. I’ve always been attracted to textile arts. I learned to crochet and knit as a child, can do simple sewing but by no means am I a seamstress. Have done macrame projects but until I began weaving, about a year ago, I never realized just how much I love the process and it’s possibilities. Your classes have helped me so much. I’m very much a Visional Learner & pick up things pretty quickly and try to challenge myself with the montra, ” It’s all a learning experience, Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.”
I’m glad you’re there to help me. So from the high desert of Arizona, thank you. My fingers are crossed to win.
Allison Herndon
Access to all the classes for free. So many classes to take. Financial issues this year make continuing the membership difficult.
Janet
This would be a great treat to win and let me start your classes sooner
CJ
Congratulations on 7 years of Weaving School!
I am so excited to have found your site. Many years ago, I took weaving lessons and had to quit when we moved away. Now there are no weaving resources within a 3 hour drive of me- online is the only option. I’ve been wanting to start weaving again, since I loved it, but I don’t even know where to start. I am so overwhelmed, and following chapter to chapter through a how to weaving book has been difficult. Online lessons have been unaffordable, so thank you for the possible opportunity.
Crafty G
Congratulations on the 7th birthday!! I had a milestone birthday last week too. For my birthday, my OH (who often moans that I “don’t need any more string”) bought me an 8-shaft table loom – just to prove that he loves me really. So I get to learn a whole new set of things from your amazing resources. It’ll certainly be a different mindset to weaving on my old rigid heddle. I’d love to win your giveaway, as there’s so much that I can learn from you. Thank you for the opportunity to participate, and again, congratulations on your 7years of success!
Becky shook
I found you when I was just learning to weave so tho I can not afford to pay for classes you have been teaching all along my journey and still are I have been sharing you with lots of people.,they love you too. I love watching what you make and what you do other than weaving as well…you make me feel braver about tackling my knitting machine. I have fibromyalgia it isn’t what you have but I liked how you have been sharing how to work within the limits I need to hear it is ok to slow down to recover so I continue to enjoy your videos that is the real prize thank you
Janet Frost
I have been waffling on pulling the trigger for this membership. Winning the anniversary Giveaway would certainly help me move forward. I follow your posts and learn something for every one of them. Thank you
Tamara
Congratulations!! Very excited for you! I had a one year subscription last year and learned SO MUCH from Kelly’s videos! However, I feel that I didn’t even scratch the surface as there is so much content to review and learn! Every time I watch one, I am exposed to new and exciting techniques. Would love to have another year to keep expanding my knowledge with Kelly’s guidance.
Melaney
I want to keep “upping” my weaving and I love what I have learned from you. You are my go to for anything weaving. I would love to be able to take it all in! A premium membership for a year would be fantastic!
penny seay
Congratulations on seven years! I am a new weaver and feel fortunate that I found your videos so quickly. You have helped me to learn basic skills and to have the confidence to new things that I would probably not have attempted on my own. I would love to win and be able to access more of your classes! I have purchased several and have learned from each one. Thank you for all you offer.
Cyndi Paola
What an amazingly generous prize you have offered up!
I know I could not have learned what I know about weaving now without your teachings Kelly!
So glad I found you!
What would it mean to win for me?
It would definitely help the budget! I could use those dollars for weaving tools and yarn!
Win or not, I’m not going anywhere soon,
You are my mentor. 👍🏼❤️
Jeanne
Congratulations!
You taught me how to weave via your U-tube lessons. Winning would mean I can learn new patterns for my 16″ rigid heddle Ashford.
I’ve finally, 2 weeks ago gotten brave enough to make a simple weave using yarn from my small BAD SHEEP YARN stash. Previously I’ve practiced by using acrylic successfully.
Thank you for so generously sharing your skills and talents.
Sincerely, Jeanne
Edie Horton
I’ve sorted of fallen by the wayside with respect to my weaving journey as I’ve been busy the last three years training I. Shiatsu. But I’m done now, and I’d Love to get back to lear ING more about how to make all sorts of different patterns and styles of weaving with my loom. AND I now also have a four shaft Ashford table loom I was gifted by one of my shiatsu teachers which I have set up but haven’t had a chance to use yet. I’d love to get going again with my now greater ability to create various patterns. Before all I had was a two shaft knitters loom.
Andi
Happy birthday!
I love your classes. I learn so much and it’s such a lovely break from the busyness of the day. I would love to extend my membership for another year. Such a gift!
Kathleen Hollerbach
Thank you Kelly for always inspiring us. I am a newer weaver (2023) and a premium member of the weaving school. I have benefitted enormously by viewing your tutorials, your online lessons, and your free YouTube video content. It is so easy to watch, well taught, and relatable. I always feel supported, as a new weaver, by your vast library of reference videos, and the lessons that are accessible in the school. I would continue to benefit and maintain my weaving path, by winning this giveaway. I would SIGN UP for another year of weaving school!! Weaving will be a life-long process and I believe there is ALWAYS something more to learn. We are never finished learning. You are exceptional at providing these lessons and should be encouraged to continue to do so, for as long as you want to continue teaching and providing these resources. Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise with the rest of us!
Lois Elaine Silsky
Congratulations on 7 years! Your videos and the Online Weaving School are my go-to’s for inspiration, training and problem solving. Love the patience and detail you provide. I appreciate the time and attention you continue to put forth in your ever growing library and weekly email updates.
Thank you.
Paula Hodges
Thank you for all of your hard work.
I am homebound and weaving is my only creative outlet. Being able to learn through your weaving school has been a real blessing to me. The items I am able to make are given as gifts so your gift of teaching touches others beyond just your students.
Amy Kneller
I love your lessons and techniques. Congratulations on 7 years! This premium membership would be so awesome and I could learn all the techniques that I haven’t tried yet!
Julie Pierson
Happy 7th!!! It’s been a blast following you and learning soooo much along the way.
I recently retired and getting back into weaving. I’m excited to learn new techniques and refine old ones. This prize would bring me a step closer and keep me from making more excuses on why I’ve spent the money to my husband and to myself!! LOL
Lois Meyners
The Weaving School helps me keep my feet on the ground while my head is blissfully lost in beautiful clouds!
I am a new weaver and am so thankful I learned about the Online Weaving School. Prior to locating Kelly it was taking me so long to figure things out on my own. I will admit to being hesitant initially to commit to a yearlong membership, (who knew?!?!), but I am loving my new hobby! I have found an activity where I can be wildly creative and a Premium Membership will help me develop my skills. With Kelly’s community I am able to build a solid foundation for my future weaving adventures!
Cindy Frye
Congratulations on 7 years. If I win the prize it would be awesome. I’m retired and money is tight. Anything that will support my crafting will be greatly appreciated.
Sharyl Parker McCulloch
Kelly, what a generous AND welcome gift you are offering – congratulations on your success, and we all know how valuable your classes are! Not only do you offer those, but also your quick (free) videos on various RHL techniques.
I started with your beginning Tapestry class as I had just purchased a simple “pipe” tapestry loom and still use it. But my first love is the RHL, so much so that I joined a group as part of the Central Oregon Spinners and Weavers several years ago – and this January formed a group for new RHL wanna-be weavers. I can tell you, watching these gals embrace weaving brings me that same feelings of joy and pride as if I were starting all over again!
And the number one weaver/teacher/maker I refer them to for more information is you – you truly are an inspiration! Thank you!!
Christy
I have thoroughly enjoyed every class I’ve taken from you. You are so thorough and leave no stone unturned. Your patterns are lovely. I would love to win and enjoy even more of what you have to offer. I’m always looking forward to what you teach next.
Laura E Wingate
I find so much peace in weaving, I can listen to music or just enjoy the quiet but finding a craft that I can still do with my arthritis is truly a gift. I have so much to learn and following your patterns with detailed instructions have been a blessing, plus I still go to all the free video’s you so generously post on you tube. I feel ready to tackle the double heddle weaving and more detailed weaving but need some more schooling, never too old to learn. I would love to win this amazing 7 year celebration gift,
Beth Casey Hagood
Seven Years! Amazing. Your Weaving School will continue to thrive because your training is patient, informative, done with good humor, and makes learning how to weave enjoyable. You hold the student’s hand in guidance and simultaneously encourage exploring on one’s own.
Winning the 7th Anniversary give-away would enable me to continue on this journey toward straight selvedges, grasping the intricacies of a well-tensioned warp, discover the ins and outs of supplemental weft and warp, and all the rest awaiting in the “loomy bin” that is weaving.
Cindi Miceli
I am fairly new to weaving and was taking classes locally until I was sidelined by an illness and could no longer attend. I would love to continue learning more about weaving and since I am home a lot now I would love to have some expert instruction. This would help make my illness and its constraints easier to cope with.
Susan Ostrowski
Congratulations 🎉🎉 You have been such an inspiration to me as a new weaver. I love your videos and have leaned so much. I have taken only one class so far. If I won the prize I would be taking all the classes that I could. I am looking forward to learning so much more.
Thank you for what you do Kelly ❤️❤️
Rachel
I would love to be able to learn new techniques on my rigid heddle loom!
Kathy
I would love to have a premium membership. I have bought a couple of your classes and have enjoyed your teaching methods when trying to learn using 3 heddles on my rigid heddle loom. My birthday is June 1 and this would be an excellent way for me to celebrate 74 years and to continue to be inspired to try new things on my loom. I would love to be that lucky weaver to receive your most generous gift❤️
Tammi
Congratulations on 7 years! I absolutely love being part of your weaving school so it would mean so much to me to be chosen! Like every one else, money is tight but I couldn’t see myself not continuing being a member. I grappled the decision and winning would make all the difference! There is still so much I want to learn from you and your classes are top notch! Thank you Kelly
Yvonne Case
How wonderful and thank you for the chance. I only started weaving a couple of years ago and I love it. This is my last year with the subscription as my personal life recently took some changes and while I’m in a better place as far as my mental health and happiness goes, my finances are a bit tighter and I had to put in to cancel at the end of my subscription. Your classes are such a help to me! Again, thank you!
Robyn Johnstone
Although not a subscriber (until now!), I have already learned such a lot from you, Kelly, and now I’ve been weaving (rigid heddle) for 8 months I am ready to go deeper. Thank you for your easy to follow instructions and personable style. Congratulations on 7 years of weaving school!
Cheryl
After many years as f being told rigid heddle weavers are not true weavers, I was fortunate enough to find a wonderful teacher and take a beginning class in January. I’ve not looked back since. Still a beginner learner and the membership would open up so many possibilities with all your wonderful classes. Happy Anniversary.
Jeanette Heidenberg
Congratulations on 7 years of teaching the world to weave! I learned about you from the Stranded Dyeworks YouTube channel. Jude’s mother was a huge fan of yours, and I have found your classes incredibly helpful. I’m still a rookie, but after participating in this year’s Diamond Stripe Towels weave-along, I count myself as an advanced rookie. If I were to win your generous give-away, I would be so excited to take my weaving to the next level.
Valeda Jennings
Wow, congratulations. Not easy to do, worked hard to make it a reality. You are the BEST spot on the internet for rock solid weaving instruction, and thank you for what you do and give.
Suzan Sussmann
Congratulations on 7 years! Absolutely amazing what you have done.
I was a member but the timing was not right for me to take full advantage of it, so i never had the chance to take full advantage of it.
I love the way you teach and have learned a lot from you, but still have so much more to learn.
I would love to be picked so that I could full immerse myself in your videos and really advance my knowledge and skill set.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely, Suzan
Jennifer Puett
I love watching your classes and have improved my technique. I am a member and frequently recommend your classes to others. I still want to grow and am considering adding a 32 inch rhl to my small collection. So very happy to have found you. Congratulations on your 7 year anniversary. I enjoy hearing about you family activities and consider you a far away friend. Your lessons allow us to encourage others and offer advice based on knowledge from your classes.
Susan Bogart
Happy 7th! Soooo glad I stumbled onto your weavng school, which is how I do most things, especially weaving. NOT stumbling is a great plus, and your clear instructions, in your wonderful accent, are a clean and simplified explanation of the process. I find myself always thinking “how would Kelly explain this?” and returning to the weaving school for help. Thank you so mich!
Barbara Fornoff
Congratulations Kelly on 7 years of guiding al of us on the weaving journey. My weaving skill and creativity has grown because of your dedication and enthusiasm. I would use your courses to deepen my craft with expanded knowledge of all the super powers the rigid heddle has. Thank you for bringing this weaving knowledge forward to us!
Mary Pasley
I joined Kelly’s school years ago while learning rigid heddle weaving. Kelly’s teaching style resonated with me and I have/am learned/learning so much from her. Over the years, I moved more to a floor loom and had to give up my subscription as retirement finances got tight. I just couldn’t stand it and ended up resubscribing on a monthly basis. I am currently trying to my tackle my Inkle Loom. I still feel Kelly’s school to be the best online experience and she makes you feel like part of the family. Congratulations on 7 years!
Tina Coultas
I have been weaving on rigid heddle loom for several years, mainly tea towels and scarves. When I discovered your classes, a whole new world of possibilities opened up. I have taken the Krokbragd class, and I just completed a project for the tapestry on rigid heddle loom class. I have been playing with yarn since I was a child, with knitting and crochet. Discovering your classes opened up a whole universe of other possibilities, and I am so thankful for that.
Peggy White
I am getting ready to retire from the University of Michigan after 43 (!) years and my membership expires next month. Having it renewed would be a wonderful retirement gift!
Matty
It’s my birthday. So I should win. Ha!
Actually, I have used a four harness loom for a while and have just fallen down the rigid heddle rabbit hole. Just started experimenting with the heddle rod and love it. I just recently discovered your Weaving School and videos. They have been such a help to me in my journey! Thank you for being such an encouraging and helpful resource!
Chris Baker
Winning this giveaway would be amazing, I’m already a Premium member and as a newbie weaver I’ve learnt so much from your classes. The classes are easy to follow and create confidence that I can achieve beautiful weaving as I practice more.
I aspire to be able to create some of the beautiful patterns so winning 3 would be the push I need to try.
Diane R
I’ve been a knitter for over 30 years, but have only been weaving for 2. I’d forgotten what it’s like to be new at something so I’m making more mistakes and getting frustrated. The classes would give me the opportunity to improve my skills and my confidence.
Tami Leslie
I can’t believe how timely this giveaway is. I have been so sad to not be able to renew my membership this year. Circumstances in my life have changed drastically in the last two years so I’ve had to cut some things out for now. The future looks bright, and I intend to renew when I can but winning this would be such a highlight of 2024!
Congratulations on seven years. You’re amazing and God is good!
Patricia Wakelin
This would be wonderful to win. It would allow me to expand my knowledge and practice new techniques in weaving. Thank you for the opportunity.
Gail Casalini
Congratulations on seven years.
I’m new to table looming and found your videos. I immediately responded to your teaching style. I signed up for you table looming class and am learning so much. I would love to continue learning from you.
Leeanne Lange
I am a newish weaver, I have a rigid heddle and an inkle, and I can do the basics on them, but I feel stuck and unsure of how to go forward from there. As with many crafts, I think that my weaving would be easier with the tips and tricks of an expert. Right now I am just fumbling my way through, helped by your YouTube videos. Thank you for this generous giveaway!
Jennifer Rittenhouse
Congratulations on 7 years!! That’s amazing.
I took your beginner weaving course and learned so much. My weaving improved a ton with just that one class. Access to all of your classes… I can’t imagine how much I’ll improve with that.
Lia Michels
It would just be so nice to win something and Nice …. To win something usefull. And folloing you for sometime now…. Usefull it is 🙏🏻
Harry Killenbeck
I bought a rigid heddle loom during the pandemic, and in the last six months I;ve been given a 40 inch Pendleton floor loom and most recently an 8 shaft Leclerc Dorothyloom. Winning this package would help me actually begin to use these looms the way they should be. Your classes and Youtube videos are a big help!
Barbara Struve
Congratulations on an amazing 7 years. You have taught so many new weavers, myself included. You have such a calm and thorough way of explaining the process. My personal weaving journey started right before I had two major shoulder operation that took place days before the pandemic hit. I was not able to have physical therapy as a result. I rehabbed by weaving. My doctor was amazed at how well I recovered by doing my own rehab. Since then life has many twists and turns. It’s now time to work on learning more complex techniques. I look forward using your lessons to guide me through. Thank you for all you do to help us all along.
Catherine Simmons
I’m 69 and new to weaving, your videos have been my go to site. Easy to follow, I’ve completed a couple shawls and ready to hem my first set of napkins! Thank you for your videos and teaching.
Beth Rice
Hi Kelly!
Congrats on 7 years!
I love my rigid heddle loom, but still really feel like my weaving skills are “intermediate beginner”. I recently received a second heddle and am anxious to use it, but haven’t figured out it yet. I know you have some amazing classes that would help me feel confident in this, I just frankly can’t spend the money right now. I’d love to be able to improve my weaving and gain new skills. I’ve watched some of your free content on YouTube, so I know you’re as amazing teacher!
Thanks for the generous chance to win!
Denise Kastner
I can’t believe that it has been 7 years either! Thank you so much for the lessons you have taught me these years. I have embarked on a journey of weaving with three heddles because of you. I also appreciate your heart that comes through with every video.
Thank you again and again.
Barbara Stern
Congratulations on seven great years! Kelly – you have grown so much in that time, and I have tagged along with you and have learned so much. Thank you!
I’m nearing retirement and rethinking my outlays of money for crafting. If I were to win this prize, it would be another solid year of weaving lessons for me.
Hope you stay well and strong.
Sharon George
Congratulations! I live in a remote part of Western Australia. When I lost much of my sight due to a car accident I could not quilt. So I looked around for another craft. Weaving has become that answer. Doing your lessons has really made the difference. You are a good teacher. I now sell my scarfs in two shops in Mandurah, WA.

Hi Kelly!
Congratulations on achieving this milestone. I meet new weavers and those with RH looms but no mentors every day. Your classes are the ones I always recommend they start with first. Why?? Because you repeat the technique process over and over, allowing new weavers to actually weave with you and watch your techniques which they can then emulate. Your communication skills are excellent, so for those that are auditory learners you meet their needs as well.
On a personal basis, it’s been a joy to watch you, your family, and your school grow. I wish you many more years of success. Hugs across the miles.
Cynthia H
Contest aside, I I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy your school and videos. I was particularly moved by your latest video. You are so down to earth, true to yourself and calm. A breath of fresh air on the internet!
Cate Gundlah
I’ve only started weaving in the last 4 years and your site has been a very good help to me. Lots of content and good clear instruction. I go back to some os the lessons when I get stuck or forget how to do a task. Thank you!!!
Bethany Garner
Kelly, I have been studying at home during your seven years and love every post and session, working as I can.
I am now old enough after retiring and working past my work life to share my skills with others as you do, I am focused on weaving… bit by bit, and yarn cone by cone. You have been a wonderful and recognized mother and family supporter beyond teaching… I celebrate your skill, commitment and always your smiles. I would love to continue with the Weaving School, but at my age may not be able to, not working. Thank you for your sharing, encouragement and I will keep the looms (two) moving with what time I have…
Belinda Silver
Happy Anniversary! I have been taking weaving lessons both online and in person, for a number of years, and I feel as though I can finally call myself an “adventurous beginner”, with many thanks going to your online classes. The fact that you walk us through the project, step by step, is so helpful and greatly appreciated. If I were to win the membership, I would be able to explore many other techniques as I continue to improve my weaving skills. Thank you for making the offer available and good luck to everyone.
Yasmin Martin
Happy Anniversary!
I am a rigid heddle loom weaver and have been a student of your online weaving school to broaden my weaving skills! Thank you for creating such an abundance of great content, and offering it at incredibly affordable pricing! I recently finished refurbishing an older model (1980!) 4 shaft floor loom and I am waiting on the final part, a new reed. And, of course, now I need a great class to get me started on my next weaving adventure!
Here’s to the next 7 years!!! 🥂

I am still very new to weaving and have purchased several of your classes. I’ve not completed them because of moving back and forth across the US. Hopefully I will be approved for buying a little retirement home in the next few weeks and moving from California back to Florida. That said, I’ll finally be able to devote many more hours to weaving on my 16” Ashford Rigid heddle and my Inkle looms. I want to move up to a 4 shaft eventually. Long story short winning would allow me to view more classes I haven’t purchased and expand my craft. LOVE your school!
Kim C
Congrats on 7 years! If I win, it will mean I finally figure out how to use my table loom. I can use my RHL but table loom has me stuck.
Mara Lusis
Congratulations, Kelly. I already have a 6 month membership and have learned so much in the last few years. I don’t seem to weave a lot, as I am a spinner and knitter as well, but have so many ambitions. A fully wars’ membership would be wonderful.
Patty Kollack
Hi Kelly. Winning this prize would mean that I could apply it to next years membership so I can have more time to learn. I want to spend more time here but find my days flitting by so fast. Thank you for teaching this wonderful art form. I just love it and love you too!
Kyle
I have been weaving now for about 2 years but very off and on. I am about to semi-retire so I can have more time for fibre arts (and physical/mental health) and this would be such a lovely way to jumpstart into serious making.
Kirsten Brown
This would be amazing as it would encourage me to really get to grips with weaving and try a few mew things out. I would love the year long membership.
Lisa Getman
I am a relatively new weaver (about 6 months or so) and with you as a teacher I have established a good foundation of rigid heddle weaving developing the right habits from the beginning. About 3 months ago I bought an inkle loom and your lessons have taught me the proper way of warping, weaving, and ending projects. I am thoroughly addicted to weaving of all sorts and have you to thank for that! 🙂 :). The happiest of birthdays and many more.
Annette
Congratulations on 7 years, hopefully many more to come! I love your way of teaching and it is always a pleasure to watch your videos. Winning would mean very much to me, being a subscriber already so I know how valuable the content of your classes is.
Andrea Magill
This would make such a difference to me. I have a rigid heddle loom which has slumbered at the bottom of my wardrobe for about ten years. She has been out about five or six times to see daylight and feel the wool going through her heddle. I just cannot seem to get the hang of weaving and would love to improve my skills.
Diane Chadwick
I just don’t think I could weave without you!
Amanda Knox
Congratulations on 7 years of the weaving school. This is so generous of you to offer such an awesome prize. I’m a self taught weaver and very much on my own on my weaving journey. Your YouTube channel is always the first place I turn to when trying a new technique. I have purchased a few of your classes but funds just can’t stretch to a membership at the moment. This prize would be a huge benefit to me as I progress in my weaving journey. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win this giveaway.
Much love xx
Ksenmi@ukr.net
Happy birthday and all the best wishes to the school!
Winning this prize will mean for me improving my weaving skills, learning new techniques, opening up new possibilities.
🩷
Susan Dixon
Congratulations Kelly on a wonderful milestone! I’m sure everyone that has benefitted from your work with the Weaving School greatly appreciates all you do to promote and encourage a love of all things weaving. The generosity and patience you display when teaching, and your willingness to share your vast knowledge and experience with others is incredible.
If I was to be the extremely lucky person to win this prize, it would give me the opportunity to build the confidence and skills to advance past plain weave. I often feel inspired to attempt something more adventurous, but am paralysed by the negative voice in my head telling me it’s too hard for me. Access to all of your wonderful lessons and tutorials would help me to seize the opportunity and jump right into enjoying dabbling out of my comfort zine and really extend myself on my weaving adventures.
Thank you so much for your generosity in giving everyone this amazing opportunity at a chance to win! 😁❤️
Sita
As a new weaver from South Africa it would open up my weaving world and enable me to weave with complete confidence, knowing that I have learnt from the best teacher that I have everyone across, Kelly Casanova. Thanks for sharing your skills.
Elsa Flego
Happy anniversary to our lovely weaving school and to you Kelly!
Thank you for all your dedication and generosity. In a way I could say we have all won first prize already just by being this community together.
Winning would be a validation for (only) 4 years of passionate learning and experimenting. And also this has been the one time in my life I have allowed myself to do something for my sole own unique pleasure!
It lined ageing with so much joy!
So Joy to all of you/us here!
And good luck to everyone!
Kseniia
Happy birthday and all the best to the school!
I would happy to have a one year of premium membership.

Ellen Amado
Happy 7th year! I have just started my journey with the rigid heddle loom. I now have two of them of different sizes and just recently bought a table loom but have not put it together yet. I have made some scarves and made the diamond towels just recently, just finishing them off in the next day or so. I have learned so much from all the lessons you have and want to do a lot more. I have only been weaving for a few months but feel like I have more confidence because of the classes I have seen and tried. I want to build on that as time goes on. I think winning would help me continue my journey and learn much more.
Annemie Mentz
Congratulations on this milestone!
I have just acquired a rigid heddle loom and my journey started two weeks ago. Enjoying it a lot!
With a huge stash of wool and cotton, I need to get started on working it down and this win will give me the knowledge to know which yarns to use and where to start.
Anne Fitzgerald
I’m fairly new to weaving and can see there are many things to learn. Premium membership would speed up my journey in this exciting craft.
Cheryl Leckie
Many years ago I made an Inkle loom in a shop class. I still have it and have aquired and table and floor loom from an estate sale. This would help me begin my weaving once again (haven’t since school in the early 70’s). I know really nothing so need all the help I can get with the limited time I can spare (still working and a musician 5 nights a week).
Jan Heaney
It would be so very lovely to have more help with my journey to become a good weaver.
I have no friends or family who weave and they do in fact seem to think that I have turned ‘weird’!
I’m so proud of what I have woven so far but there is so much more to learn.
Wiebke Buschmann
Oh, that would be amazing! Winning would mean to have the luxury of time, which would be spend to try out and experiment the techniques you teach a little more in detail. before moving on to the next course. I am still a beginner and there are just so many patterns and colour combinations that I would like to explore that time never seems to be enough.
I joined the weaving school to learn the basics, pickup and double weave, but now I realized that there is so much more to discover!
Your classes are really great! Never too fast, which makes it easy to see what to do, how the strings should look like and where I could make mistakes. I was a little curious about weaving, so I gave it a try without having big plans for it. From many floats to basically zero in just one video, really made me enjoying it so much more than I ever thought I would. And now my head i full of things I could do and could try. Thanks for introducing me to this amazing hobby!
Laura Gabler
Winning would mean a chance to explore the many creative ways to use up my stash of mostly wool yarn. I’m especially interested in learning to double weave in order to make a blanket as well as tea towels for gifts. I think I’m revealing my beginner status 😊
Sue Heathcote
Congratulations on 7 years! Quite an achievement! And the variety of classes on offer and tips is huge. Besides this, you have much patience and true qualities of a good teacher with the mixed students you have, in the way everything is so clearly explained, not just once but several times and from different angles.
What would winning mean to me? – a wonderful surprise as I don’t normally win things! And more opportunity to learn from you. Thank you Kelly – and to your family, too!
Lois Wright
Happy birthday and thank you for all your help and guidance over the years. I leaned to weave by watching your videos and had a 6 month membership for a while. I would love to continue my learning and a premier membership would be great. I have ADHD and find it hard to follow instructions sometimes but yours are always so clear and well structured it makes learning easy.
Vickie Litterell
Kelly Congratulations on such a big milestone! Your school has opened up a whole new world for me by giving me the knowledge and confidence to weave. By taking your classes I have learned so much….from “Woe To Go!”, and I just finished an Undulating Twill on my Ashford 8 shaft table loom. Many people on FB wants to know how to get started learning to weave and I always refer them to our Weaving School, and many people agree with me that you are the best teacher! Thanks Kelly, I have REALLY appreciated you and your style of teaching.
Gai Butler
Congratulations on 7 successful years Kelly! I can’t imagine the number of weavers you have taught and inspired over this time – your contribution to the weaving community has been immense. As an existing Premium member, a win would allow me to purchase some of the weaving yarns I’ve been wanting for a very long time and would probably also complete my Kelly Casanova pattern collection. Thank you for offering such a generous gift to any potential winner, and congratulations again!
Susie Hewer
Kelly, you have given me the confidence to make mistakes and move forward with my learning without losing my enthusiasm. Your tutorials are brilliant and your enthusiasm inspires me. Thank you.
Alison Foster
I have just started weaving and have purchased an Ashford Rigid Heddle loom. I was inspired by your YouTube channel and I have watched as many of your videos that relate to Rigid Heddle weaving as I can and have learnt what I know so far and I would love to learn more. I’ve completed a few basic projects and have so many of your patterns favourited and hope one day to have the skills to do them. Such a wonderful prize would be so amazing and give me that opportunity.
Esther Koh
Happy 7th Birthday to your Weaving School, and Happy Mother’s day too!
I’ve found your videos and tips very helpful 🙂
Maree
You are an inspiration. I followed you on my path to learn weaving and when I bought my David 3 loom. Love your patterns and videos. Thankyou Maree
Luna
Starting weaving has been the best thing that has happened in my life in a long while, it is giving me such satisfaction to be able to create something on my own. I has been able to reach this goal thanks to the few lesson I was able to get from Kelly Kasanova, I learnt so much! I have been back taking more from her as she teaches really well, every lesson is clear even for a not english mother language like me :D.
Being able to participate in the premium mebership having the chance to follow all the wonderful technique she explains would be a dream ♥
Deb Oakes
What a fabulous prize! Just imagine all the knowledge one could get from a year subscription!!!
Di Walker
Happy 7th Birthday Weaving School. My fingers are crossed for this give away! Having Premium access to the Weaving School would lift my weaving from hack to proficient and extend my learning further into the realm of weaving ~ from basics to more challenging weaves. To have Kelly and her extensive knowledge only an email away would be sensational!
Good luck everyone
Graham Bell
As I already have a premium account the $157 will buy me more yarn, can’t have too much yarn 😀
Julie
Who wouldn’t want to win such a valuable prize? What a generous way to celebrate your 7-year anniversary of helping all of us newer weavers learn to make beautiful and useful things, Kelly! Your enthusiasm for your craft is contagious –and it’s a “bug” well worth catching. 🙂 (May I never recover!!)
~ Happily weaving …thanks in large part to YOU
Jo Grishman
I am a new weaver and took Kelly’s class. I never thought I could follow instructions but with her guidance, I made an amazing scarf that I am proud of. I have watched the many free youtubes so generously shared by Kelly and have learned so much. She is the most patient and amazing teacher and so easy to learn from. I am excited to see all my next projects unfold with Kelly’s help!
Merike Rammo
Happy 7-th birthday !
I am from Estonia!
I weave in the floor and table loom, and I learn by myself and of course of you! Because I dont have so much money to buy lessons or membership to all year!
A win would be a great honor for me and would help my development a lot along the way! I love what and how you teaching!
Karen Pyne
Since my membership just renewed, the credit back to my account would allow me to invest in more colors of thread for weaving so I can keep practicing and learning. Congratulations on 7 years, Kelly!
Rochelle
Winning this would mean I’d also need to take a holiday so I could focus my time on using all the wonderful resources in the weaving school! Ha ha! Seriously, it would be so exciting and motivating to learn new things. Thanks for all that you do, Kelly!
Elaine Kelly
Winning one year of premium membership would be wonderful as I am teaching myself to weave on my Ashford 60cm rigid heddle loom.
Congratulations on seven years and thank you for this opportunity.
Donna Gillies
Congratulations on your 7th Anniversary. I have just began my rigid heddle journey, on my 5th project, so much to learn. I have watched a lots of your videos and already benefited from your great hints . I would love to win your great prize as I travel in my caravan and don’t have storage for books or patterns. Regards.
Sherry Christiansen
As a new weaver, I would be thrilled to ein a Premium membership. I have several health issues and learning to weave has provided great relaxation for me. Up until now, I’ve only successfully created plain weaving, but thanks to you I am learning yo double weave, though it will take some time before I can say I’ve mastered it. Your lessons, I know, will help me be successful. Whether I win or not, thank you for your help.
Sue Edmondson
Congratulations on a great School, Kelly. I had to give up my premium membership due to financial pressure, although I hope to rejoin again one day. The chance to join again right away would be wonderful ☺️
Thanks, Sue
Aamina Arnoth
I would love to have another year of membership into your program. I have learned a lot about both rigid heddle and floor loom weaving. I love your lessons as they are so thorough and you explain things so well and the videos are so helpful. They have helped me learn how to weave from the very beginning, which was quite intimidating to me. Your classes have gotten me past this.
dale Green
Winning would give me an opportunity to have another year of your amazing lessons. I have had a premium membership since November and have learnt so much. Your content is clear and easy to follow- as an ex primary school teacher I appreciate how difficult this is to acheive.
Aliza Novacek-Olson
Sending you homage and heartiest congratulations on 7 years of sharing your talent with others! I live in a remote area with no access to learning opportunities. Your online classes and youtube videos are not only fantastic, but so important to people who lack access by other means.
Jackie Cauthron-Schafer
There are so many great people commenting on here. I can’t wait to see who wins! I’m just going along for the ride, celebrating this milestone as one of your students is pretty cool. Happy work anniversary!
Peggy Codella
Your creativity is amazing and inspirational! I was making a few handwoven things but life and illness has gotten in my way to create beautiful weavings! I am retired now and after living with metastatic breast cancer for a few years, I want to get back to the one craft I love, weaving! I need guidance and classes to spark my fire again. I just had knee replacements: Sept2023 and Mn d April 2024. I need to seize the day and weave again!
Erin
Happy anniversary! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge in an accessible way! It’d be such a gift to have full access to your lessons for a year! I still have so much to learn about weaving with my rigid heddle loom, and would love to soak up all of your lessons and weave-alongs to grow my confidence and competence. Thank you!!
Donna
It would be great to win the year of premium access to the weaving school as I am early in my Ridgid heddle weaving journey. I did join the weave along for the diamond towels and have learned allot from your you tube videos.
Jen Quested
Hello, I have been a member in the past and have enjoyed all the myriads of classes and content available. The lessons are made easy by Kelly who has abundant patience and kindness.
Shannon Earwood
Congrats Kelly on your 7th year weaving school anniversary! Winning this contest would mean endless hours of learning new weaving techniques & patterns. Your videos make it easy to try new things & it’s like having my own personal teacher beside me. Really appreciate all your efforts and so glad you started your school when you did! Thanks!

Delia
Hello Kelly
Congratulations for 7 years of amazing weaving content. I would love to win a premium membership as my weaving skills on my rigid heddle are very basic. I’ve finally acquired an 8 shaft Ashford floor loom and haven’t used it as I need to do some lessons to understand how to warp it up, read the patterns for treadling etc. I love your teaching style and would really value winning a membership.
Regards
Delia
Joan
You are an inspiration!! I have been wanting to learn to use the floor loom I was gifted and keep getting engrossed in work I do in my community…. Winning a membership would get me focused on learning this amazing art and then I would undoubtedly end up passing the knowledge on!!
Connie
I am working my way through the videos both in YouTube and Weaving School. There are so many, with a great attention to detail. I inherited a rigid heddle loom from my mother, and it’s amazing what can be done with this loom!
I have been sewing for over 50 years. My goal is to make garments from my woven material, something you have mentioned in your videos.
Whether I win a prize or not, this is an opportunity to say Thank You for the gift of weaving you have given so many of us.
/Connie
Sheryll Gray
Thank you for the opportunity to enter and congratulations on the 7th year milestone!
Winning this would give me a great opportunity to progress through your lessons in a logical way and progress in my weaving skills and knowledge to build my confidence.
Glenda Hodgkinson
Congratulations on your Weaving School’s 7th anniversary!
I’d love to continue my membership as an encouragement for you to continue creating new content. I enjoy your relaxed teaching style and gentle encouragement.
Elizabeth Toedt
I Have been Knitting for many many, many years. I took spinning lessons because of a fiber arts gift certificate my son gave me for Christmas about 8 years ago and fell in love with the process. Since I produced so much beautiful yarn, I was told to learn to weave so I could use it in projects. Happily I and I found you and your clear, concise lessons for the rigid heddle loom. Now,I’m slowly, but surely expanding my weaving techniques to include the inkle loom, using two heddles and pin looms, etc. There is so much to learn, I would love to be able to see everything you have to offer in your school.
Laura Smith
Congratulations on 7 years of expanding the skills af weavers around the world! I am very new to weaving. I have only made 1 straight weave scarf so far. I have a few of your classes but would love to have access to the whole school. Thank you for the chance!
Marlene Carron
Happy Seventh Anniversary! I learn so much from your tutorials and workshops and I love the idea that I can learn at my own pace and time. The variety is such a great plus since there is always something new to learn. The next weaving technique I want to learn is Krokbragd.
Sarah Blahovec
Weaving has become my happy place over the past year. As someone who is disabled and chronically ill, weaving and your lessons have become my refuge and reward, something accessible to me and that gives me joy. I can’t plan a vacation, but I can plan my next weaving project or pick out the next class I’ll do. Sitting down at the loom has become the time I look forward to every day, and I’m so grateful to you for your classes which have given me the tools I need to create beautiful things.
Anne cabello
Hello Kelly, I would be thrilled to win this membership. Having access to this treasure trove of information would be priceless. It would help me to grow as a weaver. Thank you for the opportunity. God bless you
Nora Curran
I lost my husband, John, on Christmas Eve. I am weaving a tapestry to honor him (he was a master weaver and an expert of Old Colonial Overshott) by cutting strips of his old shirts, jeans and pyjamas. I get inspiration as I go along. His ties also get used. I’ll post a picture when it’s done. It’s slow going as I don’t get much time to weave these days, but when I do, it’s music to my soul.
Diane Field
I am just happy to know you! Thank you Kelly for sharing and teaching us weaving- in my case rigid heddle and inkle loom. I have loved all classes that I’ve taken from you but i have also loved. learning about your family, thank you for sharing.. I would love to gain a year of classes but I am just as happy with another person winning if it allows them to sit under your teaching… God bless you in this next year and always .
Kylie Anne Smith
Oh wow what a generous prize!! Winning this would take me from a basic ridged heddle weaver to a more confident weaver – i might even give shafted weaving a go!!
Cynthia
I would love to learn about weaving—I have a granddaughter who wants to learn to weave also—so then I can teach her too.
Thank you for having this give away!

Kelly, congratulations on your milestone! It’s evident how tirelessly you’ve worked to put together this collection of videos and lessons. I learned the beginnings of weaving from your videos before I’d even bought my loom. After my Cricket 15″ arrived, I began weaving with you, following step by step. I was hooked, so I upgraded to an Ashford 28″. I just signed up for your classes a couple weeks ago and am looking forward to buckling down and learning some more difficult techniques.
Diane Blaschko
I love your creativity. I got my first loom and took a class in November. My 24” ashord rigid heddle then invited some friends to join it so now I have an inkle loom, 12” ashford knitters rigid heddle, Brooklyn 16” 4 shaft loom and an ashford 48” rigid heddle. All of them are busy all of the time keeping me occupied. Your classes help me greatly. Love this service.
Karen and Chuck Wolken
Hi, Kelly! I would love to win your online membership giveaway. I am inching my way to an experienced weaver one project at a time. I love your tutorial videos and tips to help with selvedges, etc. Not only the techniques, your calm and joyful demeanor help me to not give up when things are in knots (literally!). Thank you!
A weaver from Kansas
Jo Ann Ratliff
Congratulations on #7!!! I have taken a few of your classes and watched several videos. Your ability as an instructor is amazing because you are down to earth and understandable. In other words, you don’t talk over my head. Thank you for all you do! I have a great desire to further my weaving abilities. Being on a fixed income is a huge adjustment which makes me financially unable to afford many luxuries So winning a years subscription to your classes would absolutely be amazing!!!!

Hi Kelly. I would love to win a year’s membership in your weaving school. I’ve made several scarves on my rigid heddle loom so far, mostly with my own handspun yarn. I’m looking forward to learning more 😊

I love creating. I recently learned how to weave and I am obsessed. I can make basic items and would love to learn to be a great weaver. The craft is so incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. I can’t wait to find the next project.

I am a relatively new Rigid heddle Weaver. I lost my 32 year old son to cancer five months ago. Weaving is my meditation. He was a computer programmer for work and a runner and furniture maker for fun. During the hours I spend on the loom I remember his smile, his joy for life and his love for his family. As my life has unraveled, weaving is the my way of creating a new life together for my remaking son, adoptive son, my husband and the many other friends and family impacted by his loss.

I’m still a beginner learning to weave. I’m also disabled and so not working. Therefore a free membership would greatly help me out.
Congrats on the seventh birthday. My birthday was Thursday the 9th.

I would be absolutely thrilled to win. I’m just starting my weaving journey and have been watching all your YouTube videos. It would be great to have access to your school.

I have had my loom for over a year and really need to learn to make something other than scarves 😅

I recently was given a loom. I’ve experimented a little bit, but I would love some lesson to really get started weaving. I’ve wanted a loom since I was 7 years old and one dropped into my lap last fall.

Oh wow!! Congratulations for the Weaving School to be turning 7! Your classes have helped me so much in my rigid heddle journey and you’re helping me build confidence to actually consider a floor loom someday. I never thought I could do anything more than a single heddle and pick up sticks, but your diamond twill weave a long helped me learn so much about double heddles and to me, the possibilities are nearly endless with a rigid heddle! I am very grateful for your patience, kindness, and willingness to teach others. Thank you so much ❤️

I have been wanting to treat myself to your weaving lessons. My loom is sitting unuse because I am afraid to begin. Your classes would give me the confidence I need to move forward.

You are not alone; I’m in the same boat. Thank you for posting. I thought I might be the only one who had every thing but had yet to start.
